Look at this thing. I have to say, if I lived in a post apocolyptic world and my family had been killed by a bunch of nomad trash scoot jockeys, this is what I would hunt them down with. This is the Mad Max Ford Falcon (I fixed it!), Thinking Man's Edition. Its actually kind of scary.

WOW is really the only thing that comes to mind.....

I love Aston Martins...maybe that's why I don't like this one. It looks like somebody went wild with BAD taste on a Mustang and sort of tried to pick up a few cues of the AM. The car is jacked up so high I'm thinking it's a 4WD off-roader. The wheels are way out of character for an AM and gaudy. I know HRE's are pricey, but I'm getting sick of seeing them everywhere. Sure, the AM motor and interior details are still there, but the outside is hideous.

    Did I mention I don't like it?

    I agree with the above.

4WD stance needs to go, and the shiny wheels look tacky. I'd try to replace them with ridiculous offset old-school BBS items, possibly with gold centres.

Tan interior isn't doing it any favors either, and the slushbox kills the deal for me; cries 'poseur'.

All that said, it's still a pretty cool car

    Sorry,

I don't think there's any car made in 1977 worth having.

Like wine some years just don't produce well.

Wasn't that the low point of Aston Martins?

The only trait that saves that car is the color. Black tends to make any car look "meaner"...

But as far as modded AM's go, I'll take one from Steel Wings, thank you.

Looks like a mustang fastback to me. Go figure.

The designer of the DBS (from which this car evolved) admitted to being influenced by US pony cars (the Camaro more so than the Mustang), so your observations are not without merit... ;-)
