I got an early Chistmas present in time for the last autocross, but had to wait on the editing software. I thought that these were neat looking still captures.

The Contours are absolutely the best for bicycle helmet cams.

The Gopro HD has features I like for in car use (better sound, a preview window in development, a vast array of mounts for surf boards, cars, an included underwater housing etc.) and that won me over. Similar pricing, both bargains.

Guess I am going to have to learn movie editing when the weather gets better in the Spring and I can get some decent footage.

I also use a ContourHD; I'm almost completely in love with it.

Sound levels are a bit tricky, but there are audio gain controls in the EasyEdit software that comes with the camera. It took some experimentation to find the best settings for me, but I think I'm finally happy with it at level 7 or 8.

I tried drag racing, but kept blowing the apex for turn 2... Xbox Live gamertag— GRM Tom
