After a blazing hot summer, Florida is finally enjoying nice temps--perfect weather for a drive. How's the rest of the country doing?

I just drove from Orlando to Tallmadge, Ohio this weekend. Great weather the whole way, although it went from 80 something to 40 something inbetween! From Orlando to Savannah I kept getting this urge to turn around! idunno Y.

Yuck. You shouldn't be allowed to show stuff like that on a public forum.

I did my snow tires on Saturday morning. Saturday evening this stuff happened.

So I guess the GT6 is done for the winter.

Poor thing never had a chance to really get out there this yr.

We had the Spitfire and 1800ES out for the last car show of the year yesterday. Topped off with gas and Stabil for the Winter upon returning home.

At least the weather was nice enough for me to drive the Spit with the top down, although I was bundled up pretty good and had the tonneau cover over the passenger seat (which the g/f hates and I think is cool).

Great weather around the SF bay area now.

I returned from our fall foliage run in Oklahoma last Sunday. The temperature was fine but we had some thunder storms dampen the spirited drive on the twisties and other activities scheduled at the state park. Andre, I was in Ottawa last Wednesday. That was a pretty day to take the Pininfarina Azzura to Britannia Beach and go walking.

    Cheers Ron

    Isn't that true 52 weeks a year?

    Yes, we now have signatures.

I'd be perfectly willing to drive mine in the snow. But they throw salt all over the snow here, and I ain't willing to put it through the salt.

It's over in Michigan too. No snow yet in my area but it's currently 26 degrees out. Just another 6 months to go now. (Why do I live here?).

Probably the same reason I live in northeast Ohio. I just don't know what that reason is.

Drove my MGB 140 miles last Friday. Down Rt. 206 (here in NJ), right through Princeton University, passed Einstein's house and the Sarnoff Center (the guy who started RCA, NBC and caused us all to have TVs). I drive it to work one or two days a week too. I'm allowed to drive it 2000 miles a year (due to my classic insurance).......I'm still well under that.

A cool Fall day, leaves are really nice right now. I haven't had the top on the MG since early August.

Picture below is from last Fall.

We have had an unusually dry fall here in the great Northwest. October's weather was great and the last 2 days were in 70's, unheard of for November in Oregon. My girls are enjoying it too.

Here in NW Pa its about 40 F...Last week it got down in the 20's at night...This weekend they are calling for 1" - 2" of snow.....Bugeye's back in the garage with the battery disconnected, top on and covered for the winter....

In the long-term forcast, Veterans Day is looking good as well as the weekend.......I guess that's the way it works.....get the car all ready for winter....then it gets nice.
