  We took the Mini to our local hot rod cruise-in a week ago. Downtown New Smyrna Beach was packed. Fortunately there was still room for the Mini.

  I have to put a stock 1964 Beetle in the tuner class at my high school's car show because there are no other classes for imports.

  Last weekend I went to a local hot rod and muscle car show (60 cars).....but I lined up the British Car Club folks to go with me so we had 4 MGBs there. There were two old Beetles there, too. We ended up creating quite a lot of interest in our cars. The organizers quickly put together an import class and two of our club members took home trophies.
