The midwestern car shows are usually all muscle cars in my area. However last night's car show in Downers Grove, Illinois had an air cooled theme and I figured it would be the standard VW's and a few Corvair's thrown in. I usually go for the fun of the cars.
Last night the Chicagoland Porsche Club showed up with over 35 cars. I left with a smile....

Pete, I've gone to the Downers Grove cruise nights whenever I'm in town and they're fantastic. The themed genre (if that's the right term) always stands out.

Sometimes, the faster it gets, the less you need to know. But you got to remember, the smarter it gets, the further its going to go.

They have an import night the last weekend in August and that drags out a lot of mini's, Z's, and LBC's.
The black car with the ZUFNHSN plates was the best car there. Somebody asked him if it was a kit car and he was polite about explaining that it is a real Porsche.
