A new friend has offered one of his collection of x 19's to autocross and run on track days. I've read about them and he has like 6 engines in addition to all the cars. So now I have all winter to plan for tires and engine mods. He's more of a wrencher than driver. Am I lucky or what? It might be or what.

Any suggestions about tires for these cars? I think we have some fancy chromador wheels. But how are we fixed for 13" tires?

There is a X1/9 for sale near me. I have little interest but I did stop to take a look and it is pretty rusty. However, it might be a good parts car and I can take a closer look if someone is interested.
