Did anyone else take advantage of this amazing day?

    Let's hear it, anyone else?

Yes. Drove my '75 BMW 2002 Monday through Thursday this week and today since it was Friday drove the Mini.

I think in the last four weeks I've driven those those two cars everyday but one - there was a day with a lot of rain in the forecast so I drove my Miata instead.

On my way in this morning I saw a nice blue Lotus Exige...not a classic, but not a common sighting around here. Then at lunch I saw a Ford GT silver with blue stripes...also not a common occurence around here. I guess Fridays are popular days to drive the "special" car for more than just the folks here.

I took my wife, daughter, and her friend out in our '65 Austin-Healey 3000 MKIII for dinner. Yes, 2 adults and 2 teenage kids in a open top 60's sports car. It was cozy fun and the girls love riding in the back in parade style.

Sometimes, the company car benefit isn't really much of one. I will try to make up for it by driving the Mini today.

I put the MGB GT on a "Real" insurance policy so that I can use it as a regular car this summer. The cheaper classic car coverage prohibits work or shopping travel and I found that I was not using the car because of this.

Funny you ask. I too drove my X1/9 to work today, and yesterday, and the day before, all of last month (and year) and likely the rest of this month--oh hell, it's basically my daily driver. I get 33 mpg all around.

Well it is the second Friday of the month and brought the MG to work today! Had to arrive early to get a 'safe' spot!

It is thunder and pouring rain this morning. My Spider is parked here at work. I would have walked but we have our year end picnic today. I will get a camera.

    Cheers Ron

Ah, why is the ground all wet? What evil force caused such a thing?

The GT6 is stripped down to bare metal and my kids are home from college so the Spitfires are off limits to me. I was "forced" to leave the Kia home and drive the Mercedes in a few days this week, of course adhering to the speed limit (of it's native country).
