Last night it was +2 with no snow or rain. I could no longer resist the call of the garage. I shunted the last jobs in the master bathroom reno and went outside.
The objective was simple. Improve the layout and work space. I moved my 2nd bench and cabinets. Swapped them in fact.
Today I'll hit the store for 13 2x4's and start on the false wall.
The bulge is the stairs inside the house. Its interfering with me hanging 4 cabinets cleanly across the wall.
So a false wall will allow me to run electrical, insulate the wall to the house and flush mount the cabinets.
I can then make the benches more solid and level too. Game on.
It will take a few more sessions to get the place sorted, but now that I've had time to look it over I have a better game plan.
After the first wall is done. I will move the tap to the end of the garage. I decided I did not want the tap anywhere need the tool chests.
