    The classic Spridget family has lost one of their own this week.

    Frank Clarici (also know as "spritenut" on many internet boards) has died of a sudden heart attack. Frank was the tech guru several of the recent, American Sprite/Midget 50th events. And he would have handled that duty at an upcoming event this summer. Since he was a Jersey guy, I saw him at lots of shows and events. He was always willing to lend a hand or help out a fellow Brit-car person. Frank was one of the people who built up a Bugeye for a retiring priest here in NJ. That car was built for free entirely on donated parts and labor (much of it Frank's). The priest was a fellow in his late 70s and a life-long friend of Franks. The project was referred to as "The Holy Sprite" and it made a number of news outlets here on the east coast.
