Eight years? Dude. you've got some catching up to do..... ![]()
But anyway, Congrats and stick with it!....I've had a great time! ![]()
Here's me (below) in the late '60s in a Bugeye and a Box Sprite. I had a dreadful MGA, and an even worse TR3 before these Sprites (plus a Hillman, SAAB 93B, Autobianchini, VW, Simca, etc).
Both pix taken at autocross events. The Bugeye at McGuire Air Force Base and the '67 at Neshaminy Mall (Delaware Valley Sports Car Club)

I've owned 3 cars...
2 are current. Yes I know I suck.
I'm hoping in 2010 to add a race car to that list.

So what's the 47/52 signify?

2 drivers / 1 car?

Yes, two drivers. My old pal Dave lent me the wheels and tires off his Bugeye and I let him drive (my tires were bald....as ususal). If you look, you can see the '67 has the old-style Bugeye wheels. Dave still has the Bugeye and I still have the '67 (but my Bugeye is long-gone).
André--you don't suck. You only suck if you let life go by hopin' and wishin'. Stick with it! Hope we meet up at one of those Candian vintage events at some point.

I thought it was a fraction. ![]()
I have my Mosport ticket #001 ready for June... :)
I am a VARAC card carrying member now too, so I hope to have some serious fun this summer at the fest and do my part to help out.
In time... GT6 racer. I've been talking to the experts and know what I want.
My wife and I looked over a house 2 weeks ago, so my 2010 I hope we'll move and I will be able to upgrade from a single garage to a really big double and detached shop.
Then I will either find a used GT6 racer or build one.

Looked over the yellow MK3... Lovely, but the cage would have to altered a lot to suit my size.
