Picked up a 2002Tii last night. Not sure if it's a CMS or GRM project, but it sure is fun!

Cool. Nice find. It's on my short list of cars I'd like to own one day. Here's something for inspiration. It's a friend of mine's car. Not a tii, but you get the idea...

Cool & congrats! CMS please for this one. But add maybe some modern-type upgrades that would interest others but still leave it stock enough. Or race car build. The
&
ideas are flowing.

Room for an LSx?

About time the Mag had an engine swap project.

Looks like we've gotten the green light. The 1972 Tii will be our next Classic Motorsports project car. Look for web updates shortly and print later this year.

Always wanted a 2002 ever since the first one I saw at about age 15. It was orange w/blue insets on the hood & trunk. At the time I thought that car with a surfboard rack would be so cool. As you can tell, I grew up on the beaches of SoCal.

Ron, I remember that car--big taillight cars are still somewhat available/cheap--it's the earlier round taillight cars that are hard to come by at bargain prices these days.

Must be the year of the BMW 2002. A good friend just started a complete restoration on his '71. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nYVD85pqXoU
