  There is a lot more rust on the car than in the rockers, I'd be very weary of that car. Check the underside very well. Old mercedes rust like something fierce. You can find good non-rusty 280sel/4.5 for pretty cheap so why deal with one that is rotting.
  

  Just like someone said of BMWs, mercedes can hide rust well.
