Yes my friends 10 years ago this weekend I bought my GT6.

In response my wife said, "You mean I've been living with a stinky garage for 10 years? You so owe me a dinner out this week."

For me the GT6 has been a defining piece in my life. The friends, the knowledge and experience have all been very rewarding.

I won't dwell on the frustrations, hours spent and money errr consumed.

Over the past 10 years I've gotten to know every single nut and bolt on my Smurf. (Named for her primer blue paint)

I can't wait till my son is old enough to take his first drive with me.

So raise a cold one when you have a chance this weekend and say cheers to 10 years of Triumphed fun.

    A.

Time flies, doesn't it? I'm looking at 20 years with my TR6 in July.

Congrats Andre on the milestone. I bought my first Spitfire in 1981. I did a restore and paint job on it in time for my brothers wedding. I still have it but it's been off the road for a few years.

    You never forget your first

My brother has owned his 73 TR6 since 1977. I originally bought my TR8 in 86, sold it in 95 and bought it back again last summer.

Yeah I've talked to my wife over the years about the do I keep the GT6 or not, but the general feeling its a life long relationship.

Things have changed a little with the race car in the garage too, but once some other aspects in life settle down I hope to be able to enjoy the GT6 more.

There was a break in the weather. I was supposed to be house work, but topped off the oil and went for a drive.

I need to burn off the old tank of gas anyhow to install the new fuel pump.

    Very nice looking GT6, congrats.

    Sanity is vastly overrated.
