Love you guys mag but I have to throw out some information on the article you did concerning the repair to the cylinder head on the group 44 car project.I believe the head you have on the car is not a 68-70 cylinder head if you check the part number on the head an early head will read 517528 (this part number can be found front of the head near the thermostat housing) if the number is a 217228 that head would have been on a 72-73 gt-6. the reason I throw this information out is if you cut .140-.150 off of a early head you would have to throw the head away you would have cut too much off. I know this because I race a gt-6 and I have both heads at my shop and I plan on doing what you guys said to fix a couple of problems with my car. I just do not want guys out there to think they can do this mod on the say so of you guys and end up ruining a good head. Again I love your mag and I am a subscriber and will always be hope your gt-6 is fixed for good. Monty
