Enjoyed your article on "building your perfect shop" immensely, but your readers should know one thing that wasn't mentioned. When deciding whether to build the shop into/onto the house, or a separate building, in many states, having torches tanks or a welder in an attached garage wipes out the fire insurance on your house! If your really getting into doing your own work and need this type of equiptment, best to do it in an unattached building. Thanks for the great magazine. Smitty

Enjoyed the article on building your perfect shop. One question about your cover photo; my shop needs something like what's holding the hose. No luck at Griot's or Eastwood, though I did see something similar at Pep Boys last weekend but I wasn't sure about the quality. Please advise. Mike Space

Mike, the quality of the Pep Boys models varies widely. One should choose with care.

Mike, you owe me a fresh beer. Mine shot out my nose after reading your post.

    Smitty,

Unrelated to this thread, I noticed a red Fiberfab Valkyrie on your site in Illinois. Is the car for sale, and how do I get contact info.
