We will soon give away a gift certificate for a One-Day Intro to Racing Course at the Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving in Phoenix, Ariz.
The Intro to Racing course—a $1,375 value—combines advanced street driving skills with proven racing techniques to give students a hands-on experience like no other. The lucky winner will learn skid control, line techniques, accident avoidance and more from behind the wheel of Corvette.
Since opening in 1968, the Bondurant School has become a recognized leader in advanced driver training. Bob Bondurant personally designed its facilities with high performance and race driver training in mind, and they are the largest of their kind in America.
Of course, Bob Bondurant is no stranger to high performance driving. He was Corvette Driver of the Year in 1959, competed for the 1964 World GT Championship in a Cobra Daytona Coupe at LeMans, won the 1965 World Manufacturer’s Championship in a Shelby Cobra, and successfully raced Formula One Ferraris and Can-Am Chevrolets before a career-ending crash in 1967.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time (EST) July 15, 2008 and ends at 11:59 pm EST October 31, 2008 (“Sweepstakes Period”).

ELIGIBILITY: MUST BE LEGAL resident of the continental CONTIGUOUS United States, 18 years of age or older as of July 15, 2008. Void where prohibited by law. Employees of Sponsor, Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving (Collectively, “Contest/Sweepstakes Entities”), and their families and immediate household members of each are not eligible.
HOW TO ENTER: To enter, visit the Grassroots Motorsports Web site at Uniform Resource Locator GrassrootsMotorsports.com, follow the links to the contest page and register by providing your full name, address, e-mail address, and birth date and other information as required. Only online entry is permitted. Limit one entry per person and e-mail address. Each entrant must be the rightful owner (or have authorized use) of the e-mail address identified in the entrant’s entry as of July 15, 2008. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner, the winner will be deemed to be the natural person in whose name the e-mail account governing the e-mail address was opened. Entrants must provide all information requested to be eligible to win. Incomplete, unreadable, or unintelligible entries will be disqualified. All entries must be received by October 31, 2008 at 11:59 pm EST. All information and entries provided by entrants becomes the property of Sponsor, and may not be acknowledged or returned.
Contest/Sweepstakes entities and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries and advertising and promotions agencies are not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (i) late, lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete or unintelligible entries, telephone system or computer malfunctions, lost connections or transmission errors; (ii) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by the acceptance, possession or usage of any prize or from participating in the Contest/Sweepstakes; or (iii) any printing, typographical, administrative or technological errors in any material associated with the Contest/Sweepstakes.
DRAWINGS/NOTIFICATION: Grand Prize winner will be decided by a random drawing of all eligible entries on approximately November 8, 2008. Odds of winning are dependent upon the number of eligible Internet entries received. Grand Prize winners will be notified by phone, and/or e-mail and/or overnight mail on approximately November 8, 2008. Random selection will be under supervision of Sponsor or their designee, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Winner will be subject to verification. Return of prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification, and the failure to respond timely and completely to the winner notification, or if winner is unable to travel on specified dates, will result in forfeiture of the prize and Sponsor, in their discretion, may select an alternative winner.
PRIZES: One (1) Grand Prize: Gift Certificate for a One-Day Introduction to Racing Course at Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving. Approximate retail value (ARV) of Grand Prize is One Thousand Three Hundred Seventy Five Dollars ($1,375.00). Grand Prize winner is solely responsible for any travel and other expenses not specified as prizes, including without limitation, ground transportation, food, beverages, and alcoholic beverages. Prizes and admission are non-refundable for cash and non-changeable. If lost, they will not be replaced. Grand Prize winner cannot assign or transfer their prize to another person. Sponsor in its sole discretion may also substitute a different prize of approximately equivalent retail value. In order to claim prize, additional releases and/or waivers of liability may be required by Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving and/or any applicable sanctioning body.
CLAIMING PRIZES/RELEASES. Eligibility, age & all claims made by all winners are subject to verification. Sponsor not responsible for fraudulent calls / mail made / sent to entrants not by Sponsor. By accepting prize, winners consent to the use of their names, photographs and likenesses for advertising, trade and promotional purposes in all media without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. If a selected potential winner or Guest fails to comply with official rules and/or to submit required documentation within the designated period, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
GENERAL. By entering the Contest/Sweepstakes and/or accepting prizes, entrants/prize winners agree to: (a) be bound by these rules; and (b) to release Contest/Sweepstakes Entities, their respective parents subsidiaries, affiliates, and franchises, their respective shareholders, officers, directors, members, employees, agents, assigns from all liability, claims, action, or proceedings relating to the Contest/Sweepstakes and from injuries or damages arising in connection with or relating to participation in the Contest/Sweepstakes or use of the prizes. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify or suspend this Contest/Sweepstakes should a virus, bug, computer problem or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the Contest/Sweepstakes. Sponsor may prohibit any entrant from participating in the Contest/Sweepstakes or winning a prize if, in their sole discretion, they determine such entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest/Sweepstakes by cheating, hacking deception, or any other unfair playing practices or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants or Sponsor representatives.
