The Vintage Racers Group (VRG) announced today the 22st annual Vintage Racing Celebration at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. “As the premier vintage racing event on the East coast, this year’s Vintage Festival promises one of the biggest yet featuring road racing, oval track racing, a classic car show, flea market and live entertainment,” said John Kieley, VRG Event Chairman. New Hampshire Motor Speedway’s tricky 1.6-mile road course will challenge vintage road racers from around the world. Classic car enthusiasts can see vintage sports cars, formula cars and motorcycles compete for bragging rights on the 12- turn NHMS course.
The weekend road racing event will feature race groups including open wheel Fr JR to S2000, small bore and big bore production and sports cars.
“What makes this event so unique are all of the activities and amenities combined with, perhaps, the lowest entry fee of any US vintage event. There are plenty of local accommodations or you can take advantage of the track’s infield camping area with hookups. Garage spaces are available for all participants. There is a free welcome reception on Friday night.

The Vintage Racer Group (VRG) and Summit Point Motorsports Park announced today some of the details for the 2012 Jefferson 500. Summit Point Motorsports Park will host the three-day vintage racing event, sanctioned by VRG, on May 18-20, 2012. Early bird registration will entitle entrants to participate in a free track day on Thursday, May 17th and to be entered in a drawing to win a free entry to the event and two free dinner tickets. Additionally, VRG announced that the 2012 feature will be the Trans-Am 2.5/IMSA RS Reunion race.

Now entering its 9th year the PVGP Historic Races at BeaveRun has grown into a vintage race that stands on its own as a vintage race destination- BeaveRun proudly serves as the kick-off event for a 10 day festival of races, car shows and motorsport events.
The PVGP is actually TWO events. This BeaveRun event and the following week, there is a "street race" on public streets in Shenley park in downtown Pittsburgh. This is like no other event on the planet. During the week between the races, there is car shows, rallies, dinner events,etc. And it's all for a really two good charities, the Autism Society of Pittsburgh and Allegheny Valley School.

The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix "street race" at Schenley Park in the city of Pittsburgh on July 21 & 22, 2012 Sanctioned by the PVGP Association with support from VRG. See VRG website for car eligibility and licensing requirements for this event. Admission is free to the public! Schenley Park is the scene of our nation's only vintage race held on city streets. This 456 acre golf course and park hosts over 2,000 show cars and well over 200,000 spectators for the weekend.
The PVGP races through Schenley Park are considered by many drivers to be the most challenging race course worldwide. The 2.33 mile circuit has 23 turns not to mention haybales, manhole covers, phone poles and stone walls.
The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Association's mission is to produce a world-class vintage racing event in order to raise funds that help provide residential care, treatment and support individuals with autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Pittsburgh region.
The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix, with the help of Presenting Sponsor Shop 'n Save raised a record $150,000 for their charities in 2010, bringing the 29 year total to over $2.75 million.

VRG promotes the active use of vintage and historic sports and racing cars, in a format that emphasizes safety and enjoyment for all participants. NJMP is located near Millville, NJ and is the southern region of NJ.
